Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was escorted from a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” on Sunday after she was allegedly disrupting other theatergoers during the performance.
An incident report from the Buell Theater in Denver obtained by USA TODAY says two patrons “received three different complaints” and were accused of “vaping, singing, causing a disturbance.”
The patrons, who were not identified in the report, later refused to leave after they were asked to exit the venue, allegedly making statements such as “Do you know who I am?” and “I will be contacting the mayor.”
The Denver Post first confirmed the incident.
