There are specialized topics that need to be reserved for liberal arts in college. Public education should focus on literacy, math, science, finances, and actual necessary topics.
How come we can’t just go back to basics and teach the 3 Rs? Everybody benefits from learning reading, writing, and arithmetic. Also teach the evils of communism. No one benefits from communism except the leaders. Just ask Venezuela and Cuba and all the other countries that tried it. Communists are sweet talkers but the reality never measures up. There are no jobs for people who have degrees in Women’s studies, Black Studies, African Studies. It is just self-perpetuating in academia but of no real value in getting a real job.
These people worried about AA studies being taught but black children graduating can't even read past an 8th grade level. Amazing what these people look at to be important in life…. Go learn it on your own time
