A recent study shows that inhalation of lead from gasoline lowered the IQ of about half of the U.S. population, with some people born in the 1960s and 70s losing up to seven IQ points. NBC News medical contributor Dr. Natalie Azar has the details.

If I was there, I'd wack-wack the insulting laughter off of those two behind the desk. It's very apparent to me that the doctor was showing expressions of concern and empathy for anyone who might be suffering from the effects of lead poisoning, especially if they were born during this time frame. The other two found the idea of people with lowered I.Q. to be so funny that the doctor got pulled into the moment, probably out of shock at the other two's behavior. Thank you Doc, for bringing the findings of the report to our attention, though the numbers are certainly minimalized. I mean everything was covered in lead from gasoline in those days. You, your car, cloths, food, water, eating utensils…, even the trees had a lead sheen on them.
