The newly enacted abortion ban has been declared unconstitutional by a higher court. I don't want him to spend resources on prosecuting those cases when they would be overturned. It's a waste of too few resources that they have to work with. Nobody has mentioned that there have not been any of these cases brought to the state attorney by law enforcement. This is a control issue and nothing else.

I don't remember DeSantis complaining when the US Attorney General used his prosecutorial discretion and chose not to investigate/charge President Trump after ample evidence and probable cause through the Mueller Report, insider whistle-blower testimony, and Impeachment testimony. Hmmm…guess DeSantis only cares about prosecutorial discretion when it lets him bypass voter wishes and remove political opponents as well as help him pad his presidential ambition headlines. The DA was suspended for signing a letter stating he would not enforce/prosecute crimes involving people seeking or administering abortions. There is no case DA Warren was presented with where he would have applied his discretionary power to choose not to prosecute. I'm curious why Rep Lee Zeldin thinks this suspension is valid since, as he admits, it is based on what the DA believes. Zeldin himself signed a letter contesting the 2020 electoral outcome in swing states based on what he believed. By the same logic, Congress could refuse to seat him for this signed belief.
DeSantis is "Walking Tall." Does he carry around a piece of lumber for breaking taillights and busting shins. Awesome Governor! Much respect from Tennessee.
