Trans women athletes who undergo HRT increase their estradiol, which is affecting total body fat percentage, and reduces T to the same levels of average females, all this is reducing muscle mass, red blood cell count & other factors important for athletic performance, and the fat storage in a female pattern affects speed, Lia has more disadvantages than most people realize. This has to be taken on an individual basis, because she no longer has a male body, not even close, anyone can see that it is developing in a female pattern, changing her bones, muscles, fat, just because someone is taller and has a seemingly male skeleton does not mean it has any advantage, there are females just as much tall, would that be advantage, sure, but disadvantage in other areas of the body. Her lung size when adjusted for height has no advantage for example, especially when there's been studies demonstrating that lung size is not a good predictor for sport performance, as the differences are due to respiratory muscles enhancement, not lung size, there are studies for pelvic width difference showing that it also has no advantages in swimming between males and females, Trans women who started HRT even after male puberty can have far less muscle mass than natural born females and are fully eligible to compete with women even as boxers and be more weaker, just like some males are smaller or naturally less developed than some females, this is highly individual, especially after HRT is started where differences are even more blurred. Comments on this thread just prove how most lay men are not just completely ignorant, but acting based on prejudice, not actual knowledge and experise, speaking about things they have no clue about. It is actually hilarious, it seems like everyone is an expert these days.

There's a reason a woman will ask for a man's help when it comes to something physically challenging… what reason might that be? If trans females are competing in women's sports, all the trans will win. He says that being trans isn't a choice… but playing in women's sports with an unfair biological advantage IS a choice.

Thomas has complied with all the obligations and conditions she has had to comply with, so no one has the right to criticize her. She's not guilty. If conditions were different, she would certainly abide by them. Btw – victory by 1 second per 200 meters, so that's the "big difference" … 😄

This has to be psychology not biological. The line in the sand is clear. Everyone, even if you had two different genitalia, is mostly one sex or the other. They kicked a woman out of the olympics for having too much natural testosterone, a transgender male wins a women's swimming title, etc and so forth. You should compete in biological categories (male and female) or mixed events. This has to stop or it will ruin female sports.
Someone has to be behind this because this is ridiculous, it's unfortunate that she's a trans but they need their own league
