This is a proganda piece by Engel. I respect him but how many half truths can you say in a piece. The US went into Iraq for regime change. They destabilized the country with their flunky exiles and caused a civil war due to their incompetence.
Debathification. Firing all the military which led to an increase in the insurgency. Not securing weapons depots or the borders. Abu Garab, which led to an increase of foreign fighters into Iraq. Etc,.. I can go on and on.
300k to 800k Iraqis died in this war. Not including all the wounded. Americans don't care what they did there. They believe they are holy and righteous. But are actually blood thirsty war mongers. Ukraine is the new country to bleed for their interest.
And women had more rights and protections under Sadam and Kadaffi than they do now. And the level of corruption is magnitudes higher now than when the dictators were in power. People in Libya want Kadaffi back. They have learned the hard way the grass is not greener without him in power.
