Did anyone think that this "Student Debt Relief" is actually another cleverly disguised bank bailout? Are bankers are seeing all of this student loan debt that is not being paid for and rising interest rates due to the Fed needing to control inflation? Biden issues another executive order to help his elite banker pals behind the curtain. Quid pro quo.
Suspend the student loans our federal money is not to favor individuals that have a loan with the federal program and not pay back. Our federal money should for bridges or something that all the people use collectively. Social security, highways, Medicare, construction, disasters, and offer student loans that must payback. No forgiveness the money should be paid for student loans. No cancelation, the money will give more student loans to different students that want to go to college and have a degree. Work to pay after you enjoy going to college. Nobody forced you to ask for money. Time to payback.

It'd be nice if we had a President that presided according to the constitution instead of dangerous policies such as attempting to implement vax mandates on workers, leaving our southern border wide-open (illegals, drugs), giving tens of billions of $ to Ukraine, shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline first day in office, etc., resulting in higher gas prices (then depleting our SPR to the lowest in over 40+ years), multiple gov't. spending programs sending us trillions of $ deeper into debt, Executive Order 14067, which could lead us to eventually becoming like China, where ALL of one's financial transactions are tracked and controlled by the gov't. (and if a Chinese individual has any criminal history they're banned from flying, trains, jobs, housing, debit the perp's account for everything criminal, including jaywalking, within seconds of the infraction).

This mess all started when the government took over the student loan business years ago.
The debt is not forgiven, it's passed on to the taxpayers, in many cases people who are worse off financially than the student who took out the loan.
this is Bank relief this is where hundreds of millions of billions of dollars or taxpayers money going in the profits of bankers and lending institutions for loans that they could never collect for penalties late fees and interest rates of deadbeat loans such a great great present from the American taxpayers to give bankers and lending institutions just went up and so did their salaries
Lowering the costs? You have got to be joking again I could not afford college so I went to technical school. Others got affirmative action. Then I worked full time and earned my BS at the same time. I had to pay for my wife's college because she was not eligible for aid because of my income. I worked and got my masters. Paid off my loans and hers. I saved for my kids college so they would have an opportunity. That ended up to be only tuition. One had to take out loans. That was not enough so I had to take a parental loan. I paid that off. My other one did not want college but wanted a trade To use his college money for truck driving school or a small business loan cost him a ten percent penalty. And now you want me to pay for people that took out loans, partied and never finished??? You finished a worthless degree and don't want to pay? NO YOU SPOILED BRATS. Learn to be responsible.
