Finland and Sweden are a logistical nightmare for NATO to protect, given their miniature armies and collective coast lines. It will serve to heavily strain NATO supply chains. And in all likelihood, Turkey will vote against them joining, unless the U.S. can offer Turkey some shady backroom deals in return for a supportive vote from them. And this move will actually increase the likelihood of miscalculation which leads to a BRICS/NATO war. Pretty idiotic honestly.
