What's the point in a UN Security Council and UN Police –if they cant issue warrants for heads of states –or get the Prosecutors in the International crimminal court to investigate to keep world peace??? Russia is a member of the UN Security Council and in the territorial jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court—Why isn't Putin in custody by now??? An economic response is going to take a long time. Some European countries are too dependent on Russian products even to do that adequately. How do we clobber Russian oligarchs without hurting poor Russians? How do we even identify them personally and economically and prohibit them, or anyone representing them, from accessing Western economies; again, very difficult; but are we morally obliged to do this and other things to stop them? You bet we are!
