The Supreme Court should represent Americans and NOT a party. We DID NOT vote them in. Personally, their should be an even number of SCOTUS justices—half Democrat and half Republican. They should not be in bed with a party nor pushing a particular parties agenda. But, America is on the decline to deepen its sithole country status. Yes, it is patriotic to be concerned about the trajectory of our country. You can disagree but what happened to separation of church and state and religious freedom? We are not and it was never intended for America to be a Christian nation. It’s one nation under God. Every Americans God not just some Christian’s God. I just think speaking for God is a dangerous thing. Shame on you Christians. Jesus was not sacrificed so that you could speak for God. I’ll have to read it again but I don’t believe the Bible mentions anything about subverting the will of God or His intention for His people. They are just heretics.
I voted for Biden because Trump was a madman and he was the best we had. His behavior these first few years is making it crystal clear the Dems need a stronger frontrunner in 2024.

Abortion was legal for many years with restrictions. When they decided that it should be legal without without restriction up to delivery, they lost my support. Apparently they lost a lot of support.

The Original Constitution, the one that exclaimed "We the People", placed authority and power first to "We the People". The States came second and the Federal Government came third, with Limited Authority! They have actually flipped the Constitution on "We the People"! As American's "We the People" must take back our Constitutional power and authority from the Unconstitutional Thieves! Nothing will change until we do so.

I have to absolutely give credit we’re due, props to Biden for calling “peaceful protest.” I guarantee these things Biden accusing the Government of are all things he is gladly participating in but he wants a lot more then Roe V. Wade, he wants the guns, he wants free speech and all other rights… don’t be distracted my brothers and sisters we have more to protect are GOD given unalienable rights! Don’t forget that we already know the truth, forget what they taught you remember what your grandparents were telling you. (Of course there are exceptions to everything, we need to consider all side’s and work together to fix this and not the Gov.)

Roe v Wade is another step replacing majority rule with authoritarian rule culminating in the destruction of our democracy. Congress originally set the number of seats on the Supreme Court at six, lifetime appointments. It was hard to keep Justices on the Supreme Court. They were appointed to resolve simple legal disputes, not to declare acts of Congress unconstitutional. In their first year, nothing came to the Court. They had a two-hour session in 1790 in a second floor room in a building in New York. They had no cases, and so they all went home. Then the justices were compelled to ride a circuit of hundreds of miles, twice a year-to preside over lower Courts. People didn't stay on the Court very long. The first Chief Justice, John Jay, left to be governor of New York. The President wanted to reappoint him to the Court again but he refused saying, "No thanks, the Supreme Court is not a great job."
Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence signed by Congress on July 4, 1776. Thomas Jefferson declared "Our Constitution did not give the Supreme Court right to declare acts of Congress unconstitutional. If it did, our constitution would be "felo de se," [an act of suicide]." —Thomas Jefferson 1819. ME 15:212

Jefferson was right. A study from Princeton shows that “The America's political system has transformed from a democracy into an oligarchy where wealthy elites wield the most power. Rich, well-connected individuals on the political scene now determine the direction of the country, not America's voters.”
87% of Americans believe that Congressmen are more influenced by wealthy foreign and domestic corporations who give them money to get elected than the Americans they represent.
Our Constitution gave Congress the power to make laws. At that time, our founding fathers saw corrupt judiciaries as the enemy of social reform and wanted a separation of powers between branches of government. Abraham Lincoln later declared ours is "A government of the people, by the people and for the people…If the policy of the Government is fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, the people will have ceased to be their own rulers." The Supreme Court in the Dred Scott case declared that Negros are “beings of an inferior order, and altogether unfit to associate with the white race, either in social or political relations, and so far inferior that they had no rights which the white man was bound to respect.” The Supreme Court ruled that slaves were not people and declared the Congressional Missouri Compromise unconstitutional resulting in the Civil War.
The Court destroys our democracy by substituting the will of a few justices for the will of the public and their elected representatives. In Citizens United, Congressional Republicans and Democrats worked together to write a law preventing money in politics from corrupting democracy. Our Supreme Court sided with wealthy donors and declared the law unconstitutional.
Supreme Court Justice Stevens wrote "The Court’s ruling dramatically enhances the role of corporations and unions in determining who will hold public office. Congress has placed limitations on campaign spending by corporations since 1907." This Court violates "100 years of Supreme Court decisions" …and will damage respect for the Supreme Court. The Court "short circuited the democratic process by preventing laws embodying the will of the people." The Judges overruled settled law with unsubstantiated assertions, manufacturing, and turning its back on campaign finance legislation. The Court pulls out the rug beneath Congress disrespecting a coequal branch." The Court rejects of 100 years of settled law only because of the composition of this Court has changed. Today’s ruling strikes down the bedrock principles of law. Today's Court is going against the framers of the Constitution who "feared that Corporate evils would concentrate the worst urges of men. Thomas Jefferson famously noted that corporations would subvert the Republic."
After the Supreme Court's ruling, massive amounts of foreign money from Russia, China and other countries began to heavily influence American policy and elections. Many believe China is now overtaking us as the world leader. 8 out of every 10 Americans were opposed the Supreme Court decision. Most voters believe "Congress doesn't represent us anymore." The richest 1% now run elections. After Citizens United, one judge explained “It's nonsense to think that ordinary citizens or candidates can spend enough to place their experience, wisdom, and views before the voters to keep up with the unlimited spending capability of corporations." Campaign finance laws and prevention of foreign control of America, abortion and gun control are now being determined by the GOP-appointed majority on the Supreme Court instead of being determined by a democratic majority rule
Thomas Jefferson said nothing in the Constitution gave the Supreme Court the right to declare acts of Congress unconstitutional. The Supreme Court was not given the power to take away our government "of the people, by the people and for the people," Authoritarian rule must be stopped before the democracy our parents fought and died for is destroyed.

The “Pro-Life” movement is Pro-Death, and more people need to recognize this important fact.
The same justices and politicians who weep crocodile tears for embryos are the ones who sentence thousands of the elderly and children to die. How “pro-life” are they really when they refuse to protect people from COVID and guns? The blood of thousands stain their hands, disproving their rhetoric about caring for life.
We need to vocally label conservatives as the pro-death party, and directly call out people like Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas as the heartless, treacherous wretches they truly are. Don’t let these hypocrites claim the higher ground on the cause of saving lives; challenge them and ask how many people died from their other actions.

This is a great decision for people that are pro-abortion as it removed the federal restrictions on abortions established in Roe. Odd how you only hear the bad side despite only 22 of the 50 states looking to restrict abortion while 38 of the 50 are keeping or expanding abortions; seems better for pro-abortion than pro-life. Ultimately this sends the decision regarding abortion back to the states and the people and gets the federal government out of our choices and bodies; how is this bad?
Simple solution if you believe in abortion as a constitutional right, ratify a constitutional amendment enumerating abortion as a right; a constitutional amendment ends the issue being changed by the courts going forward and is the only concrete guarantee to establish abortion as a right.
