Ethiopia's memorandum of understanding with Somaliland is no less offensive to Somalia than the United States's arming of Taiwan is irritable to Beijing. So, it is ironic that the White House is defending Somalia's reaction to this but cannot see why China doesn't like Washington treating Taiwan like a sovereign nation. Nothing is wrong with Ethiopia wanting to access the sea to develop its economy; it is a constructive agenda that could benefit both Ethiopia and Somaliland. However, bypassing Somalia will provoke resentment and the impression that Ethiopia doesn't respect Somalian sovereignty. As a consequence, another conflict could erupt and destabilize the region again. Washington does not want such regional chaos because it is already involved in Somalia to remove al-Shabaab's threat.

Trump is doing good in Iowa because neither halley or Ron won't release that stronghold Trump has on both of them. They are still going for what Trump wants. They both are still still pleasing his crowd that's why he has a higher vote. Now if they would not follow what Trump wants if he is president then the polls would show different numbers. If the same side (GOP) are saying the same thing on their campaigns as what Trump is saying they will get different poll numbers. If they go against twhat Trump wants like advocate for abortion rights. If halley will give back to the women their abortion rights I can guarantee she will have much higher numbers than Ron. But they both are campaigning the same thing what Trump says on his campaign. They are sticking to the Maga talking points. Still embracing their leader. If they break away from Trump and tell them that what trump says is wrong and explain why he's wrong. If they give the people that yeah she's right and Trump has been proven to be wrong she would see results. She's hanging on to Trump like she doesn't want him to hate her so she can still get in his good graces when she goes to him looking for a job if he becomes president. They need to to.go against what Trump is campaigning for and keep on telling people that he been lying to everyone and that he's only using the people to get the votes and if he does become president that there will be bad days to come on his first day. The people that voted for him will then say they regret who they voted for. Well why aren't they hearing what's being said now about Trump and if they lve already heard what's being said about him then why did they still vote for him? Their answer is because they've only heard those things through the democrats. This is why halley and Ron need to tell the people what's being said about him is in fact true. If he becomes president everyone.needs to be prepared for the worse to come. And maybe everyone's rights and freedom will end. He will not care one bit of those who voted for him. He will walk over anyone that gets in his way. And the ties we other countries he will end creating chaos. People will see everyhting unfold before their eyes if trumpm becomes president. This country of our that we once knew will be no more. He might even let Russia get back the.land they want to claim back he might give china more power to unleash on us. The military that china has and how much Trump and his Maga politicians don't want to give to our military. China will soon over power us. And soon kneel down to China. Trump will bring the US to its knees and bow down to Russia and China and north Korea. Houthis
Interestingly, the administration could not cite a single incident right off the bat where fatalities or catastrophic wreckage resulted from the Houthi attacks on ships heading for Israel. The U.S.-British military strikes in Yemen against the Houthis were supposedly a response to the "escalating" character of their attacks on ships. One would think the intense military action against the Houthis was, therefore, intended to prevent them from mounting future attacks. Instead, the administration said that it expected the Houthis to retaliate, which means that it was expecting the Houthis to conduct more attacks, not end them. It begs the question of why it was worth taking such a provocative military action, which risked widening the conflict in Gaza — the event the administration says it's trying to avoid!
In reality, the military operation was geared toward Iran. Its purpose was to intimidate Iran from frustrating Israel beyond the confines of Hezbollah and Hamas. Indeed, shortly after the military action, Biden reportedly sent a message to Iran saying that the U.S. "is prepared." In response, Iran undertook its military actions against "terrorist" (likely ISIS) sites in Syria and alleged Israeli intel assets in northern Iraq. Washington criticized Iran, accusing it of "undermining Iraq's stability." The irony is that not long ago, the Iraqi government accused the U.S. of disregarding its sovereignty and undermining stability by unilaterally mounting military strikes on Iraqi territory.

Governor Abbott's treatment of migrants is downright evil; it goes beyond dehumanizing those fleeing hardship as objects to be toyed with as a political stunt. However, the demonization of migrants is a bipartisan affair.

Fun fact no approval is needed for attacks against a terrorist group. However, Biden took the terrorist label from them as soon as he got into office meaning any attacks were subject to congressional approval. Congress never voted on air strikes and Austin was hospitalized.
