  1. Lets be honest, nobody should be living in Southern LA…

  2. Start implementing RAINWATER HARVESTING!!! Divert your downspouts into yards built with berms and basins to catch the rain. It restores the water table and prevents over-water usage from the municipalities. Check out Brad Lancaster. His process got an entire city to change their codes regarding street water runoff and they are seeing amazing results. Its on the individuals tho, it takes action by citizens first to ever get the city to go along……..Permaculture is key!

  3. 6ft below Sea Level ! Bury New Orleans ALREADY !

  4. DON'T FORGET THIS PROJECT
A sediment diversion is a large-scale coastal restoration project including a structure of gates that will be built into the Mississippi River levee system to allow river water, sediment and nutrients to flow into degrading wetlands to help sustain and rebuild land.

  5. Same as in Oregon. Just one dead salmon can cause salmon sickness and poison everyone. No fun drinking half a gallon and only peeing twice. It is death for everyone. We don' t even have heath departments to complain too they're so dumb and occupy them offices just to supply condoms to foreign sex workers. They drive in to a town like they own the place having "clients" all booked up to wait in cats. Gross and grosser in America. It' s taxation without representation.

  6. Jon Bel needs fed FUNDS to top off his bank account and campaign funds and grease the skids for more corrupt politicians.

  7. If salt could be in the drinking water the water source it’s drawn from is not trust worthy drinking water even without salt. Who drinks unfiltered tap water these days.

  8. Poor planning does not constitute an emergency.

  9. This is going to be the new norm…. polar ice caps melting raising the sea level…
Communities will have to pack up and move…. whole communities… Mother Nature does not discriminate…πŸ€·πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£

  10. All that drilling for shallow oil…punch up National Geographic magazine " The Spill" it came with a map of the Gulf Coast…it's dotted with oil rigs old and new…
    It's almost hard to believe..
    Way of life…🀷

  11. Low river levels always mean slower speeds as well. This combined with rising sea levels and higher tides means it will be an ongoing challenge for other coastal communities too.

  12. How can we blame this on Woke? or Obama?

  13. I thought Republicans were all about "states rights" and keep the Federal government out of our business.

  14. The Governor should be given salt water to drink. This didn't happen overnight and earlier intervention would have prevented this but he has never governed FOR the people of Louisiana only for special interests.

  20. That newscaster is well misinformed. The Army Corps of Engineers predicted this more than 100 years ago. My people were instructed to move out of the lower 9th Ward back in 1927. The only remaining is for the Big Easy to wash away

  21. There is no drought in Florida .. it rains every day!

  22. We just got a bunch of rain in MN. Maybe you will get some.
