On the steps of the Louisiana state house today, one pregnant woman explained how her local hospital refused to perform an abortion despite her baby having a lethal condition. Lousiana has very strict abortion laws and doctors could face possible prison time for breaking them.

Sooooo…all she has to do is go to a doctor that will perform an abortion? And every news station is covering this? Why? It's been 3 weeks since she started complaining and now her baby is 13 weeks. I guess she wasn't in too much of a hurry.

Republicans are absolute monsters.
A friend of the family was told to terminate her pregnancy because the baby had Down syndrome. She kept the baby and the baby doesn't have any syndrome and she's now a beautiful doctor. A coworker was told to terminate her pregnancy when she got valley fever while pregnant. She continued the pregnancy and didn't take the valley fever treatment until after giving birth. Now her daughter is a healthy young woman and the mother is a healthy police officer.
The lady in the video is a grifter, as evidenced by the presence of Benjamin Crump and all the media coverage, she has no case and that's her 5 minutes of fame.
I feel for her condition and 🙏🏻 to her and her baby. I had friends and family that had the same condition they could not abort due to other babies inside. Why is she reading from a script, it felt so robotic.
It's interesting how many health care providers are applying for licenses in states that do NOT threaten to put them in jail for doing their jobs. I left Texas 10 years ago for bluer pastures. My timing was impeccable. Colleagues have been asking about my state. Who wants to waste 10 years of education where one cannot practice using science. Instead, it's some arbitrary religious belief that seems to empower individuals to believe they can speak for women or the babies. My religion does not accept a viable birth exists until the fetus can survive outside of the mother. Why don't we get to use my religion. it's no less than or greater than the anti-choice anti-woman anti-children team. My business ain't none of your business. How about we require ALL males to submit to DNA testing because we need to know who is raping and committing inscest. I think that should be immediate. No more invasive than making a 17 year old carry a pregnancy. I question all who want to take the rights of others. It is a slippery slope into mainland China and the people MAKING others carry a piece of tissue ARE BUILDING THE SLIDE. REPUBLICANS WANT TO CONTROL YOU. THEY WANT YOU PREGNANT AND BROKEN.
