As a Dutch citizen, this case has been heart breaking from the first day to watch. Joran needs to be in jail for life for all the harm he caused these women and their loved ones. I hope the family finally gets her remains so they can try to find some sort of closure.
Good to hear that this man will most likely be locked up for the rest of his life although it will never compensate the harm he has done to the families. He is currently residing high up in the Peruvian mountains with no heating and cold water only. Temperatures drop overnight sometimes to -20Celsius (-4F). Prison guards are relieved every 3 months due to the thin air. He is probably happy that he will be transferred to the US. Sad to see that he constantly receives attention with the emphasis on being Dutch. There is more coming from The Netherlands than this piece of trash.
Thank God Natalee can get some justice even if it is only in a civil case. It’s still so odd that my family and I vacationed in Aruba just a few months before this happened and we traveled all around the island. Wish we could have vacationed right before this happened, we would have done anything to prevent this tragedy.
