I was digging global warming that I thought everyone said was here. I was able to plant my garden in the middle of April instead of waiting till the end of May last year, my heating bill for my house was greatly reduced last year because it wasn’t frigid. I never had trouble driving anywhere in the snow here in Pennsylvania. not even on the snowiest day we had last year. But the snow would be gone just a few days later. I learned back in the 60s in high school that global warming was a good thing. Certain crops could be planted further north, heating bills, and natural gas usage would be greatly reduced, The roads in the winter would not be as treacherous for as long as they had been. Farming and construction season could start earlier and go longer into the fall for necessary repairs on infrastructure like roads & Bridges.. construction workers would not be laid off because of bad weather first as long as they had been in the past because of global warming. It was a good thing.
Now, all of a sudden, we’re back to winter in freezing temperatures.. there were many accidents on the roads here in Western, Pennsylvania, Durango, some mornings rush hour, because of snow and freezing rain a mountain to just about a half an inch. School delays, parents had to call in work and say they would be late because their children would not be picked up by the bus for two hours later than normal… you can’t leave your dog out for more than five or 10 minutes. I feel sorry for animals out there in the freezing cold that are not used to it.
There were roofers, putting a new roof on a house. I drove past yesterday, they weren’t even partly done with putting the shingles on yesterday. They were probably gonna start today, but winter hit. Can you imagine being on a roof that is very sloped trying to put the shingles on in freezing temperatures.
what happened to global warming? Winter officially only started less than two weeks ago. By the calendar, now, conditions are like at the north pole outside. The playoff football game this coming weekend between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs is going to be played in below zero temperatures with windchill’s nearing 20° below zero Fahrenheit.
We have to warm up our cars for 15 minutes to get the ice to melt on the windshields and the windows. I liked the warmer temperatures while they were here.

This is distasteful. The news act like the other part of the country is only there for them. The other storm is actually a current weather event for some people. Although it’s not the most populated part of the country you don’t have to act like it’s not relevant to us as much as it is to you.
