Matt Leffers said that he was attacked by two otters in Placer County, California, while he was out swimming at a lake. KCRA’s Orko Manna reports.

When you interact with Mama Nature you might get bit! Lesson learned. Leave the Otters alone!
The otters don't need to be removed. People need to stay out of the way for wildlife. The animals live there. Wildlife has been pushed out of many of their habitats for the enjoyment of people.
They will do that, lol. Just scratched up a bit ole boy.
I'll be over here waiting for "Cocaine Otters" to come out next year.

You’re in their yard. They’re just defending their territory. Swim in a pool.
It is the otter's home. It would be good to consider solutions accommodating the usage of the area to allow for both. I don't have much background in aquatic mammals, but it would be worthwhile to have experts examine this possibility. For example, if they could find one or more of the otters' circumscribed territories in the park and lake and mark it for both the otters and humans to observe. Follow up with demonstrating dominance in the non-otter areas by moving vessels, etc. using them to confirm that human traffic will occur in other parts of the lake and land. It is nature and we continue to encroach on their worlds — where are they supposed to go. Seems as if we imagine there is somebody else's area where than can simply be moved to as a solution. We had a lake at my aunt and uncle's farm in MN where a snapping turtle bit my thigh drawing blood and leaving a significant mark. We just made it known that there were snappers in that area and used another part of the lake for several summers.

So because this entitled man violates the otters hunting grounds and gets attacked he wants them moved? They aren't homeless people that you can drive away with police harassment and that is their natural habitat that is protected by federal law. Next these narcissistic nut jobs are going to demand that sharks and other predatory life be removed from the ocean or predatory birds be removed from the wild. I wonder if those otters are on the endangered species list.
