Jimmy Lippert Thyden, who was born in Chile and adopted in the U.S., reunited with his mother for the first time in four decades with the help of advocates and a DNA test. Thyden was taken from his birth mother who was told he died. NBC News’ Ellison Barber reports.

So happy for Jimmy and his mom and closed ones, they will surely make for the time lost. All of Latin America had brutal dictatorships in the 70's, Pinochet's Chile was pure terror. May we never see those times comeback ever again.
