Brandon Tsay has been hailed a hero for disarming the suspected Monterey Park, California gunman at a second dance hall. In an interview with Lester Holt, Tsay recounts his decision to act. “It dawned on me that this was the moment to disarm him,” Tsay says. “I could do something here that could protect everybody and potentially save myself.”

This is still so fresh. You can hear the adrenaline in his voice as he recounts his experience. I think I speak foe most of us- what you did was both necessary and heroic. People like you give hope for humanity. ❤

We all only hope we will act as this man if/when the moment arises.
To walk towards a stranger wielding a gun aimed at you, with the intent to fight is courage defined. It's not as common a reaction as most people think when the usual scenario is people either freeze up or beg and bargain for their life.
This man is a warrior he has that karate spirit from his ancestors in his blood and he didn’t even know it till now. Way to go
Praying that this brave young hero gets help for the trauma he has experienced. Free help, that is.

What a story of heroism, this young guy instinctively saved his own life as well as anyone else in the studio, his quick action really made a huge difference, he is humble but very courageous. May God Bless him and give him peace. He is our hero. .
