One or more marines were doing something disgusting and people are willing to cover for them simply because they are military…id rather get people like this marine out of my association instead of covering for them but what do i know.

Those barracks aren’t that secure, some NCOs even have their own rooms with everything a person would need to hole up.
Also unless she was tied up, she could have left at anytime, it makes you wonder why she didn’t, if she could? There are even buses that will take you right off base and into ocean side, EZPZ.
The girl has a history of running away and going missing for a few hours.. Yes if the guy is 18 or 19 now… Did he have a relationship to her few years ago while she was known for going missing for a few hours… Yes anyone with a Military ID is that civilian's escort while on base. If he was a boyfriend the family did not know she had…. He could have met her off base. Long as she acts like she trusts him and they say something like taking her shopping on base. That would not raise any red flags with the guards as it happens all the time. She could have also said she was going to visit a friend who is a family member who lives on base….. There is parts of the base that is open to the public (friends and family of ANY SERVICE MEMBER) they can go to the base store and shop with little to no tax, maybe base gym or school…. Now there is off areas like barracks, training ground and such that a civilian can not go, so that is on the escort (military id member who got them on base) to see that they are safe and in the public area's……. The base it self is not the same thing as the Barracks area… The base is like a town, there is a away where anyone can go, and then restricted area to only service members can go…. If someone has a Military ID they do not need to be active duty to get on base. Anyone in the car with them that is a civilian is in there care. So if the person who lives next door to you has the military ID and wants to take you to the base store to shop with out paying taxes, then your actions will reflect on them while your are in there care to get you from the gate to the store, and back to the gate….. It is not like you need a armed guard to move around in the base as you are trusted to be in the right area at the right times of the day otherwise it reflects bad on the person who got you into the base. You just need a picture ID and someone with a Military ID and a civilian can get on almost ANY base.
I'll bet, that as this goes forward some Lawyer for the Marine in question will say that said Marine was just trying to help this young girl who he believed was homeless or lost, attempting to make it look like "just a mistake made by a fine upstanding soldier".
I would not be surprised if the base made all the units do a health and comfort check. I remember my unit did one when me and my roommate's laptop got stolen while we're doing PT. My other roommate more likely did it since he was a thief well before he enlisted and was still doing scummy stuff.
Good News! It is no longer a secret that people in the military are criminals! More to come. It's always just a matter of time before you get caught 🙂

Marines are suppose to be training for combat readiness not hiding 14 year old girls in their barracks. This shows that these young Marines are not properly being trained for combat, instead they are letting them get into trouble and put a stain on the Marine Corps's reputation.

Are you sure she wasn't lying about her age or that she was even sexually assaulted.. Like everyone on here dont know any details at all or facts just pure assumptions.. I have yet to see details on this case Minor or not I wanna know if she ran away was lying to what ever guy about her age or whatever else and if she did in hope her and her family are held accountable to many parents dont monitor their kids it all and its time females are held accountable for when they do lie about there are and mind you 13 14 year old look 18 just like 18 year old look 14 15 bow a days..
