The Marine veteran who was seen in a video putting Jordan Neely in a fatal chokehold on a New York City subway was arraigned on a second-degree manslaughter charge. NBC News legal analyst Danny Cevallos explains the prosecution will have to prove Daniel Penny’s use of force was unwarranted.

Where was the family for this man before he became a threat to himself and others. Why was he not being fed? Did you not care that he was hungry? Only after a family member gets national attention for bad behavior,, it appears they want to come and take up for the person. If some of you have homeless and mentally distributed relatives go now and give them what they need. Turn them into the state hospital if necessary. Feed and clothe then daily even if they don't seem grateful. God our Father in Jesus by His Spirit is approving. Do not blame someone else for not knowing ALL FACTS about the homeless and mentally ill person.
if this ex marine is jailed for his good Samaritan work, don't expect anyone to help you when a criminal or crazy is beating you senseless. Lock Mr. Bragg in prison where he belongs, and give the marine Braggs' job.

It’s important to remember that homelessness is against the law in the U.S. People who don’t have a place to live or access to necessities and services are often arrested for loitering, panhandling, trespassing, having open containers in public, urinating in public, and dozens of other crimes.
He was not choking the criminal, he was defending himself from aggression. This is a green light for criminals, NY justice is disgraceful.
