A grandfather and grandson were killed and a third person is critically injured after a Land Rover driving east in the westbound lanes of a Massachusetts highway crashed into the victims’ car. The driver of the Land Rover was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and motor vehicle homicide. WJAR’s Molly Levine reports.

Aw man. In my unprofessional eyes that accident looked survivable, that silver SUV which I assume was the Infiniti doesn't look that smashed up as far as the passenger space. But internal organ injuries are certainly a factor.

Why are these drunk drivers always the ones to survive these horrific accidents they cause?! 4 siblings in WI just recently died due to a wrong way drunk driver and that driver survived too.
Drunk driver here in Wisconsin killed 4 children from.one family! He had been arressted 4 times; driving while intoxicated! He was driving with a suspended license! Sorry this happened to Jacoby and his grandfather; prayers for the grandmother! Prayers for the children from Waupaca WI and their grieving family!
Sorry for the families loss but let not skip over something strange here. How can they die in an accident like this? Did they have seatbelts on? Looks like a normal head-on collision and the vehicle has deployed airbags. It is not normal for occupants to die when wearing seatbelts in a modern car head-on collision. would love to know more about the details that lead to the actual fatalities here. It’s not only a wrong way driver.
