Let’s be real. Our elected officials are aware of the problem. Gun manufacturers, advocates, dealers, legislators…. Every one understands the problem. With the technology and resources available today, it’s obviously possible to make it far difficult for these incidents to take place. Or the thousands of casualties each year. It’s not about any amendments or the phony political performances they give us. If suddenly the wealthy, people in power, and their families were being targeted and were the victims… If the “isolated incidents” and “frustrated loners” started focusing on the corporate offices of Fortune 500 companies, and the best private schools… if people living in poverty stricken areas decided it made more sense to unleash gun violence in and around exclusive gated communities and those stray rounds started literally hitting close to home….
I’m certain we would start seeing new regulations, safety measures, and laws to mitigate the the problem VERY quickly.
It’s time we open our eyes. This stuff isn’t allowed to go on because of incompetence, ignorance, or an inept government. If someone is aware of thousands of casualties a year, even kids in schools being targeted, and does nothing but share nice sounding words they don’t actually want it to stop. They aren’t in this with us. The RIGHT type of people, the people that are expendable, are the casualties. And if you think it’s exclusive to skin tone, you’re in denial. It’s class. And until we get on the same page and realize we’re not the class that matters, they’ll keep making fools of us. Keep us fighting each other on their behalf. And keep watching from a distance while we’re the ones affected by this violence.

You are a fool for using rules to attempt control a criminals actions, who by definition break rules. Rules are tools for justifying punishment, not control people.
