Fans of actor Matthew Perry left flowers near the apartment building featured on the sitcom, “Friends.” Perry died of an apparent drowning at his Pacific Palisades home.

Why is everyone saying "an apparent drowning?" It makes it seem as if he was swimming and drowned. No one knows the cause of death, but the only way it was caused by drowning is if he somehow passed out, or had a seizure and because he was in water and not on dry ground, then drowning would be the cause… even then, plenty of people die from seizures whom isn't in water by themselves!
