I bet in the coming years the people that survived will be pushed out by greedy corporations wanting to build resorts in the affected areas.
The truth is that damage from wildfires or any kind of fire could have been written out of existence by engineers who understand what materials should be used to shield cars or any structure a long time ago…
The first line of defense is what doesn't burn …that would be carbon …every car, instead of paint, should be covered in a layer of carbon, even on the glass, through chemical vapor deposition or another form of atomic adhesion …
Homes, or any structure, should be made of Hempcrete…it's cannabis mulch mixed with water and lime to form blocks or bricks that are fireproof, you could even coat the inside walls with Hempcrete panels to mimic drywall and even finish it with fine hemp mud…looks no different than conventional methods…you can even make roof frames, plywood style boards for roof sheathing, as well as shingles, this would completely insulate the outside of the house…we could even create carbon coated windows and doors…
After hundreds of years of such events, it leads me to believe that chaos is something this planet thrives off…people are slaves on this planet…and it shows by the level of disregard to preserve human life at all costs, by all governments of the world, with already available technology…

I've seen every ethnic nationality and race EXCEPT Kanaka Maoli? Are they ok?
We understand the Island has been colonized by the rich but there is still a small population of Native Hawaiians why aren't they being interviewed?
