The problem with the media is they are supposed to hold politicians accountable but they don't. They ask them hard questions only to allow the politicians to avoid answering it by talking about themselves and "how great they are" They don't follow up they don't force them to answer the question or take a stand on national television. They let them dance around answering the real important questions essentially giving them platforms to spew their BS and then the American people wonder why we're so disappointed in our system but honestly it's right there in front of us. No one holds these politicians accountable. The media is supposed to do that but they don't. Then all we're left with is empty people making empty promises being elected to office to make decisions that end up benefitting whatever special interest group they're most indebted to. It's not solely the media's fault but they seriously could do better.
