The cruelty of inflation is manifested on the least Poorest citizens that can afford it .

Now the secretary of treasury , Congress and the Fed want to increase the debt ceiling so they can continue to spend more money than they generated from taxes . It’s like giving your teenager another credit card so they can run that limit to the max . The Congress is worse than teenagers .
Unfortunately, the Congress does not understand nor does the Fed or the secretary of treasury the following formula ;
MV = PY
M equals the money supply, V equals the velocity of money = P equals the price or you could call it inflation & and Y is the gross national product?
Velocity & the gross national product are generally slow movers & do not change very much ;
so that leaves us with This basic formula that
M = P
when you increase the money supply, M2, you will increase prices or inflation ( M = P )
Whenever you hear Congress name a bill, ( The Inflation Reduction Bill ) it means exactly the opposite.
It will increase inflation.

Moving forward to 2020 to 2023 with all the Government additional spending (increasing M2 ) due to Covid issues.

These banks were encouraged by the federal reserve to buy secured government instruments.
Now those instruments are underwater due to the rapid rise of interest rates by the Fed.
You cannot raise the federal reserve rate almost 5% within one year without breaking something, and

As I heard on Meet the Press news report both Trump and DeSantis think defending Ukraine is not in the United States interest. I believe these inhumane comments and postures will hunt them until the end of their lifes. In summary they agree with what 20th century Hitler is doing, attacking, invading a sovereign country to occupy and annex it illegally as slaves. They are wrong in their views, it is very clear they don't know all the facts of WW II and the history of Europe and the European Community democracies.

2008 banks failure and bail out and now in 2023 again the same? Well Michael Moore's documentary on the 2008 bail out got a hold of 2008 and 2009's bankers and AIG CEO's expenses lists and they were paying the same $250 suchi lunches and $1,000 spa afternoon trips during the bail out. They did not change their extravagant lifestyle at the expense of tax payers. So I don't see to much change on the situation. As Senator Warren explains, this bank's CEO's get huge monetary packages much at the expense of the simple common citizen deposites and it should not be. This system keep erring in sustaining a healthy economy that could at the same time sustain a strong economically middle and working class. If this is the case again more subventions available to middle and working class families should be available to survive for fair reasons.
What about all those tech employees who lost their jobs and had no money to deposited in the bank. This contributed to the down fall of those 2 banks.
