The relish with which this once-journalistic show CONSTANTLY trumpets to its audience "WE ARE DIVIDED AGAINST OURSELVES" is disgusting (especially because MTP happily remains silent about the PROFITS NBC & other channels are raking in due to this EDITORIAL DECISION to push divisiveness instead of delving into actual facts and issues and which party actually supports exactly what). I'm only halfway through the show but need to escape Todd's gossipy partisan digs, blatant whataboutism and utterly INANE, wanna-be-gotcha questions.
It has been clear from the start that Chuck Todd does not have the gravitas and intellectual depth to present this once popular show in its original form: sober presentation of issues and factual journalism offering a platfrom for political leaders and candidates to present detailed explanations of their political platforms, ideas and legislation that affect us all.
Today's MTP is all too often a sideshow for clicks & giggles.
