Can't help but wonder if a big part of the safety problem in northern Mexico is related to the USA inability to control gun safety, especially due to states with flimsy gun laws. A joint briefing with Mexican officials and USA officials a few months ago highlighted that most of the guns connected to murders in Mexico originated from ten counties in the USA. Our lack of gun safety feeds the iron pipe line across the border too. So now we are destabilizing other nations too? Shame on us. Comprehensive federal gun safety legislation is overdue.

Silicon Valley Bank will trigger a collapse…because there are few buyers in the market it owes Banks B, C, D, E, F, etc. a long chain of international and national banks, and these banks owe capital to each other. When one cannot pay its liabilities and IOUs the rest cannot pay off their IOUs and the reserves of the bank in particular are lower than their assets and their assets are eroded by its debt and liabilities triggers a fall in profits for banks in general who then cannot pay off debts; enter the Tax payer to shore up the banking system once again, or is the credit system in permanent decline worth shoring up?
