American media is nothing more than an echo chamber, every network has the same headlines, are so afraid to deviate and talk about Christian repression of LBGT people which the perpetrator was identified in other news outlets. The children are the victims and the adults care in words but not in action. The book banning, the standoffs between far right militants and transexuals, the alienation and rejection, teen suicide. Leads to Nihilism that some one was bound to take an action like this. Assault Weapons Ban is not going to change this problem. This is a social problem not an individual problem. Its a subjective problem of society that the something that needs to be done is a ban of bullying and rejection. But that is not going to happen in a government divided. The police know schools are vulnerable and they park themselves near schools is the only reason the response is that fast.
Havent we already decided that we dont care about the economic and emotional state of our citizens; therefore, the only way to reduce mass shooting is to reduce the amount of guns in our communities.
