A VP no matter their age or that of POTUS is always, without exception, only a heartbeat away from the highest office. That should never, ever, be a selection criterion. Whether if called upon the VP could, if necessary, stepin seamlessly and do the job is a much much better consideration.
Listen, you've got to start with failed banks executives. They bet wrongly on interest staying low and had massive deposits from investors that if withdrawn could cause serious cash shortages. No banks want an increase in deposit guarantees as their cost for the insurance will go up proportionally. Regulators dropped the ball in their oversight.

The problem, the major problem in America, is the fact that we have no accountability. I have heard the government and people in position complain about our welfare system for years. I am not on welfare and I work for state government I retired but I have heard these remarks on my life about welfare recipients. I now see that our country has a corporate welfare system. And they are feeding of the taxpayers dollars even worse then someone on welfare because they don't need it but they get it and abusive. When a bank fails I have not heard of any body being held accountable that was employed at that bank and made those poor decisions or perform those illegal actions that caused the bank to fail. Is it not common sense that they had the security that if their actions causes the bank to fail that the government is going to bail them out and they are not held accountable for their actions. Only in America!😮😮😢
Our debt limit here in the United States of America is a great concern to a lot of people and I would like to know what debts are included for the United States of America. Is it debt incurred for many such as foreign aid, military endeavors, bailing out the oil industry Auto industry big Banks and so forth. I don't understand when it became the responsibility of the United States taxpayer 2 bailout huge companies and Banks. No one seems to explain that in the news so I guess I'll have to go research it myself because it bothers me to think we have such a huge trillion dollar debt for things that we do not have the responsibility to pay. Ninety-five percent of the citizens in the United States are working and paying taxes and if they would tax the Filthy Rich there would be no that however United States Bells out the filthy rich.
