Representative Ken Buck (R-Colo.) predicts a debt deal will pass even with the vast majority of House Republicans likely rejecting it.

Maybe Congress could do their job and make a budget, then actually pass a real budget EVERY single year, this IS the only real way to decrease the national debt. There has not been a budget made or passed thru Congress since 2009 and before that it was in the late 1990s, if Congress is so concerned about the debt they should Do Their Job and make, ratify, and pass a budget EVERY single year instead of spending their time arguing like Little Children non-stop. Maybe voters could send Responsible, Qualified Adults to office instead of RICH PAMPERED SPOILED BRATS. Then we would have an actual Functional Government again and there would not be this debt ceiling "drama" every year

It is maddening to listen to both Kristin & the guest discuss this. Anyone who doesn’t already have knowledge of how this works would be clueless listening to your discussions. Explain the details. Republicans held the dent ceiling hostage. Any negotiations are a result of Republicans holding the debt ceiling hostage in the first place. Don’t act like the Democrats aren’t getting this shoved down their throats.

I think they would also to do well to listen to Preston Sprinkle on Raw Theology about LGBTQ+. Also read Douglas Johnson’s book “Still Time To Care.”
