My suggestion for reform:
A lawyer will be required to accompany all police officers on duty. That should cut down on some of the illegal activities by police.
Right or left politically, this is unacceptable on a ton of levels. These guys should definitely be heading to prison soon. When someone calls for their mom (not in this particular video), you know things are going bad. Prayers for this family.

This was terrible to watch. I’m sure the individual needed to be brought into custody but the police went gangster on him for no apparent reason. I was a police officer for 21 years and never kicked a person while they were down. 98% of cops are NOT like that!!!
On the other hand, police showed weakness allowing protesters to shut down an interstate.

It is horrifying behavior by the policemen! I say this again and again and again, if Tyre would have just Complied he would probably be alive today. Look at past situations. When you resist. When you mouth off. When you show force or run. It is setting you up for Injury or Death!
Police need to be trained for six months prior to being on the streets teaching them kindness and patience and civility
Nothing wrong with what they did if you fight back resist arrest and run away you deserve it. You always blame the police, you have no idea how lenient the police are in the usa compared to other countries in the world. Moral of the story…dont fight back.

He was first resistant and then he escaped, right? All this would be perfectly avoided if the guy remains quiet. I think he should al so be cooperative.
Police are under a lot of stress trying to save us from (potential) criminals.
Maybe he was running to the street cam because he knew the Camara was there but the officers did not so when they displayed this awful behavior he ran to a place where they would be recorded remember he was near his home and knew the area he got the officers in there own Web 🕸️
I am against protesting, but in this case, have at it. To many videos of innocent people suffering at the hands of someone with a badge. Corruption needs to end.

There needs to be more restrictions on who can become a cop. It is suppose to be a badge of honor but anybody can go through the training to become one one. It is a shame. I'll be praying for his family
