I'm one of those parents who are now paying attention and will vote for Republican school board members.
When teachers have been replaced by ex-military personelle, the kids won't have to learn about slavery or evolution or critical thinking skills – so they'll be able to focus on learning how to submit to authority. No need, then, for other military recruitment centers. Win win.

In 1800 to 1900 up to the 1930s all American education was once all private, de-centralized down to the town counsel level with the parents calling all the shots and deciding who should be on the town's school council board and can easily fire them without waiting to vote them out. And all textbooks are freely selected by the parents and by the school council board members who can be fired at any time if they mess things up, not by the Department of Education.
Private funding for the school was provided by the parents of the town, or by the county but never by the State and never by the National Government. Teachers can be fired anytime if they failed in their duty without any outside interference by the Teachers Unions or by the Federal Government FOR EVERYTHING WAS PRIVATE, DECENTRALIZED, AND DECISIONS MADE PRIVATELY AND LOCALLY BY THE PARENTS THEMSELVES. There was even this kind of friendly competition between towns on who can produce the best crop of highly educated students every year.
Those were the good old days when there are no feminists, no political correctness, no affirmative actions, no racial quotas, no liberalism of any kind, no liberal indoctrination-distraction, NO BEHAVIORAL PROGRAMMING, BECAUSE SCHOOLS DURING THOSE TIMES ARE TO BE USED ONLY FOR ONE PURPOSE WHICH IS TO EDUCATE AND TEACH KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM, TO SMARTEN UP THE STUDENTS, MAKE THEM MORE INTELLIGENT THAN THE TEACHERS BECAUSE THE TEACHERS ARE ALL UNDER CONTRACT THAT THEY CAN BE FIRED RIGHT ON THE SPOT IF THE NEXT GENERATION IS NOT BETTER THAN THE TEACHERS AND IS NOT BETTER THAN THE PARENTS, FOR THE PARENTS AND SCHOOL COUNCIL MEMBERS DEMANDED IT!
AND THE SCHOOL COUNCIL MEMBERS CAN BE FIRED ANYTIME FROM THE SCHOOL COUNCIL BOARD IF THEY FAILED IN THEIR DUTIES TO MAKE THE STUDENTS BETTER EDUCATED AND SMARTER AND HIGHLY INTELLECTUALLY ERUDITE AND INVENTIVE AND INNOVATIVE AND INDEPENDENT FREE THINKERS AND INDEPENDENT PROBLEM SOLVERS AND HONEST AND LAW ABIDING AND GOD FEARING. Political actions in US schools and ANY politically motivated behavior from outsiders without ANY professional and intellectual capacity is VERY dangerous. Using kids as a human shield from some hysterical uneducated women to reach their real goal – government paid job in school boards is more than unacceptable, it is disgusting, non Christian and shows complete lack of moral values and common sense..
This Mercedes is not educated enough to know that EVEN ROYALS don't complain and don't get involved in their kids education once they put them in school they choose. No matter how bad the kids are treated there (physical punishment is common ). They just made a choice and leave the educators do their job.
