The National Water Commission of Mexico has formally declared a state of emergency due to a worsening drought as officials begin to clamp down on usage. I'm from Monterrey and a lot of people started to make fun of this and even make memes about it, but the reality is that 40% of the world is in drought and Nuevo Leon is beginning to open everyone's eyes.

We need to focus on saving every drop of rain water instead of spending money on making bigger bombs. When it rains here in southern Cali we see all the rivers flooded and going straight to the ocean.
