Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Tuesday that she has filed charges against 16 people who signed paperwork falsely claiming to be “duly elected and qualified electors” and that President Donald Trump had won the 2020 election, NBC News Homeland Security Correspondent Julia Ainsley reports.

Our bill of rights says 'The right to petition government for redress of grievances is the right to make a complaint to, or seek the assistance of, one's government, without fear of punishment or reprisals'. That includes elections. So tragic to see an AG abuse their power to silence citizens they disagree with.
