Not exactly sure why they think that they're entitled to cross borders without any legal right to do so. Protesting because there are borders and they're not allowed to just waltz in? Yes, we have borders for a reason and if you want to live in the United States then find a sponsor, get a visa, and complete all the necessary paperwork like everyone else has to do when they want to become an ex-pat.
They are guided only by information from social networks that are often manipulated by organized crime to make them believe that the border is open, in this way they obtain benefits from them (they charge you more than 10,000 dollars to cross the border), for migrants to start the processing for legal immigration can be very difficult, so they opt for the illegal route.
