Industries claim to be desperate for workers, yet reuse to offer them benefits, 401k, or livable minimum wage.
People are tired of working long hard jobs for little pay.

Heres the catch. Pay trades like lawyers. They deserve it at the top end, no jokes. Lawyers don't guarantee civil infrastructure. Trades do.
Oh fast food restaurants Walmart's big chain stores like that that is called slave labor the only difference today is they don't see color if you can't pursue your American Dream at that it's not called a job

as a worker in an essential and desperately needing to hire people situation I can say with a straight face a lot of these companies are ran through the government and therefor the hiring process is not only long but complicated and exhausting then you get the job and big daddy government takes half your paycheck to pay the "small fee" for your benefits. But then this is the worst you can be in the job for years and the supervisors dog you out and treat you like dirt take your money and disrespect you. It's all an abomination these people's way of doing things and makes no sense because they dog you then complain they can't hire!!!!!

Well, there's several hundred thousand (illegal) border crossers needing work for below min wages.
I wish I were a young man instead of 60 years old who's had 4 heart attacks 3 in last four years along with triple bypass 11 years ago . Now unemployed no one want my help and SSDI WANT HELP . Worked hard jobs all my life from farm to logging to contractor
Plain & Simple…. Blue collars jobs needs to be 100k hourly plus OT. It's the difficult job now. Sitting in an office is a crowded profession. PAY UP.

I am positive a trade is badly needed everyday everywhere. I just hired a brand-new plumber who was great but is new and was very reasonable for my small job. He was awesome and believe me, we have been hiring through a public site in the neighborhood and these people work and I am grateful!

So, what would you think, Mike, if you knew that one of the companies you recently featured on your show just laid off a hard-working 65 year old woman (that loved her job) with 7 years at the company, and kept the woman 20 years younger with only 1 and 1/2 years with the company? Just curious. BTW.. that 65 year old woman thinks you are one amazing "real" man…not many like you, Mike!!! God Bless you so very richly!

Much applause and thanks for your relentless efforts to keep the multitude of industries and their work force informed and supported.
Now on th my point;
There are thousands upon thousands of people who making sustained efforts to gain employment that are of age meaning over 50 , they have vast amounts of experience skills, judgement and patience, yet when they alloy for a job there are advised " We do Not believe that you will get along with the younger employees…".
As we know there are laws that prohibit the above mentioned rebuff, and the HR managers when reminded of this fact response is "Do what you think you need to we will be here…!
It is time for an employer/industries to welcome Denied Workers back to work!

It appears obvious to me, that every single aspect of American Life MUST BE RADICALLY REEVALUATED.
WHY? The way we are living is not sustainable. That means, if we keep living the way we are we will all die..because you won't be able to drink the water or eat the food. As basic as that. Pick any part of American Living, and dig deep into the truth behind it, and you will uncover oppression, corruption, and environmental filth.
How can there be a shortage when 2 million migrants have entered the US this year?

AND THEN ALLOWED THESE SAME BIG BUSINESSES TO SHIP THEIR PRODUCTS BACK TO AMERICA AND SELL THEM TO AMERICAN CONSUMERS FOR MAXIMUM PROFITS !!!
RATHER THAN OFFERING THEM INCENTIVES TO REMAIN IN AMERICA AND USE AMERICAN LABOR TO MANUFACTURE THEIR PRODUCTS HERE IN AMERICA !!!

Worked in the trades for a little over 20 years. I'm a very huge supporter of the trades and other vocational schools.
gender identity degrees does not make things run or maintain them, it takes real work.

Education system has failed America. They've insulated them from anything pragmatic, downplayed and disparaged the trades and pushed students towards college, and not so much law, medicine, engineering or Science… more stupid newfangled Humanities degrees that are totally useless from a vocational perspectives and really just indoctrination and advocacy masquerading as scholarship.

If these industries are so essential, maybe the hourly wage they pay could be increased? Maybe there could be more job security discussed? We don't need unions anymore, thats for people already at work. We need new standards for work compensation thats actually going to attract new workers. The only people this concerns are the CEOs and government representatives in control. Trying to glamorize a dangerous and health risk job, won't cut it anymore. It just makes for good entertainment.
I would love to see Mike covering poultry farmers. From the bankers and appraisers to the Realtors and the growers themselves and what they labor under. Fieldmen, integrators, etc. and even the plant workers and what they labor under.
