I grew up conservative but ended up becoming liberal because I’ll never forgive Bush ever. For the rest of my life and on my grave. Mom died in 2008. Dad got laid off multiple times. I’ll never forgive Bush for what he did. I will never let this go.

As a Gen X i have said for over 10 years I have faith that Millennials will not be crazy, like Trump people. Meanwhile we still have Silent Generation in the Gov, not many but a few like Mitch Mcconnell (born Feb 1942, 2 months after we entered WWII). I also have faith in Gen Z when they get a little older.

I often feel like GOPs are so disconnected from realities, stock in their own ways, that at some points they will wake up and realised that just like in businesses, if you choose to play the head in the sand game and avoid adapting and evolving with the demand, it's inevitable that you will become obsolete and replaced.

When you are young, you think government can solve all the problems and take care of you. As you get older, you realize the government can't save you and they always make things worse.
