We were recently denied Medicaid benefits, and are entitled to an appeal. While making a phone call to contact the state agency for details about the process, one of the options to choose from was for refugee assistance. Ok, so we don't qualify income wise, that's fair, but any of us should absolutely qualify as American citizens BEFORE providing health care to those who are not legal, tax paying citizens of this country. Of course we can show up to a hospital to be treated for acute care, but then comes astronomical bills thereafter that are then reported to your credit when you cannot afford to pay. All this while the people that run our country have free health care for life, and would have zero perspective on the ramifications of making these financial decisions. It's disgusting and unAmerican.
The pandemic is over, the rule was supposed to be temporary. This is a non-issue.
As far as ACA goes, as long as your not in a opt out state before the pandemic happened. For those in opt out state even tho you can qualify federally you can get denied at the state level. Anyway.

Single payer healthcare would be the best thing for businesses, employees, entrepreneurs, and people caring for others at home. assuming that businesses would no longer be allowed to provide special healthcare benefits to employees… employers wouldn’t need to make sure everyone works 40 hours a week in order to maximize their investments, meanwhile employees could take whichever job they like without worrying about gaps in healthcare or switching providers. People could quit jobs they hate to risk starting small businesses because they wouldn’t be worried about healthcare. Some people would quit jobs That they had so that they could take care of children or people who are infirm at home. Plus we would get rid of the massive inefficient insurance billing industry, as well as the insurance advertising industry and all the overhead in HR department.
Billions this week expected to go to Ukraine once again. Come on people. The full faith and credit of the corporation called the United States is based off the blood, sweat and tears of the people. But we steadily let the politicians bamboozle us. 😢😢😢
