Yes it Rains in Pacific NW. sometimes it rains really hard. That’s really not news to those of us who have lived here for any length of time.

I used to live in the PNW, moved away because of the rainy dark days, too many in my opinion. Beautiful place though. I dont miss that weather. Summers are nice or should I say were nice, the annual forest fires kind of ruined that.

Rain? In the Seattle area? Unheard of.
"On the brink of disaster"… Nah. This is nothing. Those being flooded at the moment know they live in a regular flood zone. These flood events happen regularly. The timing of the flooding is causing added inconvenience. That's the price residents pay for their less expensive raised homes.
