Mississippi’s governor issued a state of emergency to residents as they brace for more flood waters. The Pearl River is expected to crest at 35 and a half feet overnight near downtown Jackson. The flooding is adding to the water still on the ground in Mississippi after days of excessive rainfall. My guess, news is going to over report whenever the Mississippi River floods (like it has for years), because they want to justify diverting water from the midwest to CA. Mark it.

Can the nation not build a pipeline water infrastructure that can transport flood water to drought areas? Seems completely doable and strange this is a problem not yet solved in 2022. Also, create an alternative video ender to promote the network when more somber content is being shown. The chipper tone at the end of a flood video is off.

Well, as someone who used to live in Mississippi, a lot of the state is a giant floodplain.

When buying homes asking about historic floods in the area, see how close to a body of water you are.
