"Now to that…" If we already knew about these things to such an extent that you could refer to them as if they were the crazy woman down the street, then we wouldn't need to tune in in the first place. Cutting everything into 30 second segments isn't fast-paced enough, so they have to give it the aura of being even more quickly paced. It's the verbal equivalent of swiping left.
