Mom, Kids Trapped In Target For Two Days During Winter Storm



During the massive winter storm that slammed most of the U.S., a mother and her two kids spent two days sheltering in a Target store in upstate New York. Jessica Sypniewski shares her story of how the store employees welcomed her family with hot chocolate and blankets and how they passed the time waiting out the storm.

  3. There should be a law that tells businesses IF already open, to open doors in these cases and let people refuge in. I wonder how many lives could be saved if it is implemented and people know to go there.

  23. This is how a community should act in desperate times such as during this monster of a storm. Those Target employees deserve recognition for their humanity and a raise wouldn't hurt either.
