BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT.
This CEO apologies are weak.
Shes didn't think this mom would go to the news about this.
Proof that the manager will ask if you’re “still coming to work, right?”
CEO Admitted her apology was fake and insincere and scripted. Do you honestly think she now regrets it. NO, she only regrets it b/c she was caught.
This problem is a modern one. Early 2000s and earlier this stuff happened on a daily bases. 🙄🤔 I guess times have changed
Too little, too late. You destroyed your brand and deserve the consequences.
Oh, I forgot that this is first world America… 😅 WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK WORK…. WHILE your tax $ fund social programs in other countries… 😂
I took 18 months in Canada…
I would never buy from this company!!😢
she wont take the new job? sooo did she just do it for attention?
That CEO looks like she’s from Chy nuh. I wouldn’t do business with that company!
Boycott Cold Hearted Cruella.
Kyte Baby WHO ?send them packing to Communist China n their sweatshops.
Google other companys:
Bamboo sleep sack
They fire anyone who gets pregnant, spending time with baby instead of working for company
You can hate on the CEO all you want but most CEOs are the same including yours.
2 weeks maternity leave from a company that makes baby clothes?!
The CEO is doing what the law allows in the US, if the US citizens cared about mother then they should have already demanded their congress to pass a law to protect them from abuse, but they dont really care, they just like to post videos on tiktok being fake outraged about anything.
The company did not learn from the movie "Office Space'. You don't terminate them. You just slowly stop giving them paychecks. The stapler is property of the company as well. I like how feminism actually backfires on female CEOs who have to deal with their own kind. You must learn how to apologize to your fellow feminists.
Talk about entitlement. We all have to work. So you get denied because you can’t work at home. Boo hoo. Get over it. We all got bills to pay. You ain’t special. You even got paid two weeks for not working, and then you trash your boss?! Screw all you entitled Moms.
Imagine being a baby company and not allowing a parent to work remotely with their newborn baby 💀
Is it the company's responsibility ??? ABC NEWS once again with crack journalism. This is embarrassing for ABC.
Although it sucks the employer said no to remote work even though her baby is in the NICU, employers do not owe you anything and you are not entitled to demand anything from them other than wages for work completed and a safe/fair work environment. I am speaking as a mother to a baby who spent 6 weeks in the NICU and went back to work a week after giving birth cause I was too new to qualify for maternity leave. Everyone arguing that the employer NEEDS to offer remote work is entitled. Even if a job can be done remotely, you would be amazed of how many people who can’t stay on task when they are not in the office. I’m not saying the mom in this clip would’ve been that way, but people need to stop all this entitlement. There are remote jobs you can apply to if it’s that important to you. It may not be the job you want but you can’t have everything and god bless those who are lucky to have everything. The employer is cutting you a check to work on their terms. Take it or leave it. There are so many people who would take your spot in a heartbeat without complaining.
Companies DO NOT VALUE EMPLOYEES! they value loyalty and commitment. Once you do something they don’t like they will get rid of you instantly. Stop being a slave to work, do what you’re paid to do and clock out.
2 weeks?!? She couldn't take FLMA for 6 weeks unpaid?? For a baby company?? I see why they got backlash. They need to just make changes
Imagine being such a low life that you need to apologize for your apology.
CEO only apologized so she doesn’t lose more revenue and go bankrupt. 😂
Now you wanna apologize. Most companies are like this. You're a number
Dont buy at Kyte it is run by greedy Chinese CEO. She only apologized cuz it went on line….they only understand "money".. this is from experience..they are bullies, look at how the Chinese is bullying the Filipinos at the China Sea, claiming in that area that is theirs. They will "gas light" you and behave as if its your fault…so sad, and glad the mom stood her ground
Dang, I bought some Kyte baby products and was looking to purchase more. But to think that a BABY company only has a two week maternity leave policy is wild.
All the CEO cares about is her money and after the backlash is when she finally decided to apologize even though I'm sure she doesn't mean it like all corporate people do. Anyway glad for the mom to stand her ground and I hope the baby that's in the hospital gets a full recovery and lives an amazing life.
My daughter was in IC for 2 weeks after was born. My wife lost so much blood during labor that couldn’t visit her until last day when she was discharged from hospital. I as a carpenter worked 10 hrs shifts, go home , shower and go to hospital every evening to see my newborn. Later on wife couldn’t work for 6 months due complications. I never complained, neither she does.
People are just soft nowadays, they want work remotely . Get paid for nothing. Stop complaining. Period
Too little too late Ms. CEO. Enough is enough in this country for the lack of support to women and men with new babies. Some of these companies need to look at the support parents get in other countries. Not happening in greedy American. Hope that company goes down with the boycott.
2 weeks of maternity leave in Republican Texas… no abortion right… good luck living and working there
