It is disingenuous to blame the government when it is obvious what the manufacturers did. They manipulated production because they are making a killing off reduced productivity. Just like car manufacturers are doing.They are selling old cars for 30-40% above value, so they are not interested in selling brand new cars. They will all destroy the economy then ask for government bail out which they will get from the Senators which they control.
I worked as VP productivity & acquisition for a tech co, and cannot fathom how shortages of baby formula can happen in a country that manufacturers 95% of its baby formula. Meaning they are not constrained by supply chain issues. The raw materials are 100% sourced from the United States.
