Thanksgiving is America’s version of Fat Tuesday in Louisiana. It’s all about greediness. From scarfing up too much dang food, to rushing out to spend money. It’s a hedonistic holiday that Americans embrace as a global one. They’re going to equate hostage release with thanksgiving. You watch. The United States negotiated nothing in Israel. But they’ll take credit for releasing prisoners of war. That’s what these hostages are. POW. Thanksgiving is supposed to be about gratitude. Gratitude is selfless. Gratitude is humble.
