It is great to recognize the achievements in science of minorities and women! Great role models encourage others to enter science. Even if it is a family member, I will not reconcile, much less kowtow to any manner of belief or conviction they possess which is harmful to the general population of humanity. I will not physically fight them, but I will shun. The reason is, once you have a conviction that "end times" have to be helped along by the "faithful", I can only see them as a different form of terroritst. If they wish to die, they are welcome to go that way, but having died twice, last year, my preference is to live: To live in peace without someone trying to impose their skewed moral beliefs on everyone else, especially when they, themselves are ultra-immoral.
Don't confuse a vote for Warnock as a vote against Walker, or for abortion rights. Warnock is just the lesser of the two evils.
