August 27 2020 hurricane Laura Cat 4 storm hits Southwest Louisiana with 150 mph winds a 10 foot storm surge. 6 weeks later Beta hits exact same area. National coverage zero. People are still rebuilding some have not started. Insurances don't want to pay. National outcry zero. The people of the area are generally poor. Their outcry zero. Why, because they know No one is going to help but the neighbors and themselves.

The Governor needs to let people know!!! When disaster like these (hurricanes or lavaflows) the land price changes; the assessment value on properties change to $0 and the zone distinction change to 0 or 1. 0 or 1 means banks will not invest in the property if you want to rebuild. This will grieve you at first because FED or even your bank won't tell you and you might want to sell your lots but understand no structures or buildings you have on your lot will not assume it's past value because it's down grade to be hazardous. If you didn't have HURRICANE insurance you gonna want to count on FEMA only. You need to be eligibile for FEMA (own the property not a renter), proof that title is clear if you owe the bank, wait for about 4 or more weeks for the process and FEMA's assessment of EACH lot. YES THATS THE HARD WAIT.

Enough with new vaccines every 2 months. It would seem big Pharma is making record profits off of as many people taking their shots as possible, but not everyone needs a new shot every 2 months. I would think taking vaccines all the time comes with its on health issues. I've had the first 2, and I'm done. I also never get flu shots, and I rarely get colds or flues, and the few times I have over the years, it's a day or 2 of sniffling, maybe a little coughing, so Id rather that, and some natural immunity than taking all these shots every year.
