My company handed out 3% raises for our yearly increase this year. That was after we had about 7% inflation last year. We all got a 4% pay cut…and this is what most people are experiencing. Under Trump, wages were growing faster than inflation and we were all winning. Under Biden, we are all losing.

It has been in Recession with huge inflation for well more than 18 months. The way they calculate CPI just doesn’t show the inflation, it would be double digit inflation the way they use to calculate the inflation rates back in the 70’s and changed to funky CPI math in the 80’s. The only reason the stock market hasn’t crashed is that with zero interest rates they are forcing even the low income savers to gamble in the stock market. It’s keeping stock prices artificially high when they should be crashing.
