Just Tuesday I was at the sheriff’s dept for business and about 20 officers where in the front of the station being yelled at and threaten by a man that has just been reheated minutes earlier from jail, and they just stood there, no one tried to help him! Shooter was not a teenager, and "teens shooting each other" is mainly an inner-city issue, which safe storage laws won't do anything to address because it's criminal/gang oriented – they follow no LAWS aka CRIMINALS. The gangs are 3d printing guns, so making a law that otherwise tries to address that issue won't do anything either. Gun deaths also do not override auto deaths, and neither with "kids". This lady is delusional and making things up off the cuff because she is anti-gun. Criminals will do crimes, and they get convicted or killed in the commission of a crime typically, so what solves that? Not anything to do with what she is saying… nice brainwashing though. Also people in the comments saying things about kids going to school and not being sure if you will see them again… yea life is dangerous, and your chance of dying in a mass shooting is less than that of dying via a plane crash… aka EXTREMELY RARE. People soak this stuff up because the MEDIA makes every incident come across as a MASSIVELY WIDE blanket-issue, when the reality is that it's USUALLY not. If someone is going to suicide as well… they will do it, and making it harder for them to have a gun will not stop them from suicide, it will only limit their options. You people, some of you, are actually looney-toons. Get your logic correct, and stop trying to say that a device is the issue when it's a culture/societal issue rather. I'll keep my AR-15 no matter what you people SAY, as I got by LAW and FACT, not OPINION and EMOTION. It has been federally ruled on dozens of times in reference to the 2nd amendment and the context of a militia via the people. You can CRY all day, but the courts will soak your tears up with LOGIC. Go get the 2nd amendment changed and overturn ALL the rulings in reference to it… it will take over 66% of the country to change anything you people are whining about. The world is crazy, so deal with it. You have no RIGHT to FEEL safe… and the chances are your fears are being bolstered by the MEDIA when they headline nonsense like this… instead look at the FACTS and figure out what the FACTS are of what is actually going on, instead of drawing OPINIONATED conclusions.
